Devin attended his first baseball game, made it through the entire game, and was intrigued for some of it.  He's learned to be a daredevil, provided there are soft landings, and will jump off most anything (see couch jumping, above.  He's also competed in two track meets this summer, clocking an impressive 32 seconds in the 100 meters, first in the under 3 years old and under 4 foot tall divisions.

Devin went on a tear a few days ago making up movie titles he'd like to see.  Among them were "Dark Trees", "Hands on the Fence", and "Falling Leaves".  A creative genius, or a kid staring at the backyard  too long?

Excited as ever for his third birthday, Devin does not await the presents, the company or the food - he awaits the day promised to him six months ago, when he would be allowed to chew gum.  Strangers on the street are made aware of this fact before they say hello.
