The track meet pictures (first 2) did not make it on
last month, as they were taken in February, but here the are now!
Devin ran the 100 meter sprint at the Novato HS all-comer track meet
(as did dad) and after seeing dad do a few more events, demanded to
do another - the 200 meter, or half a lap (second photo). As
you can see, there's a smile on his face, which is all that matters.
Well, that, and getting his electronically converted times in both
events, and then logging
all of his performances on this site. Bets on who will be
the first parent kicked out of his little league games? Devin has also learned that making faces, putting on cheesy fake smiles, and generally avoiding getting his picture taken (as evidenced in some above photos) will draw the attention and ire of his parents, much to his utter enjoyment. Any other sucker with a camera will get full attention and hour-long model posing sessions, should they require. Devin's growth chart has also been updated. He's now 45" tall, can read complex words and write his name and a few simple words. |
